A return visit to Jamaica Bay to see if there were any changes, this time exploring the southern end of the pond. The birds were largely the same, with much better views of the two Gull-billed Terns. The American Avocet was still showing well in much the same place as yesterday. The only birds that were new for me were juveniles of both Black-crowned Night Heron and Yellow-crowned Night Heron.
An early visit to Plumb Beach was less productive, other than an adult Clapper Rail with 6 chicks.
